Since our founding in 2003,  Backhausdance has been dedicated to engaging and inspiring youth through accessible, high-quality contemporary dance programs. These meaningful experiences foster creative expression, strengthen confidence and interpersonal connection, and offer valuable opportunities for personal and artistic growth. Our mission is to create and perform innovative contemporary dance while empowering the next generation through education, mentorship, and community engagement. 

Joining the Igniting Potential campaign for the first time, Backhausdance is raising funds for our inclusive Let's Dance education programming for youth of all ages and abilities held throughout Orange County in schools and community organizations.  Let's Dance includes exciting assemblies, performances, daytime and after school workshops, master classes, residencies and our annual Summer Intensive professional training for teens and emerging dancers, designed to make their dreams come true! 

With your generous support of $10, $25, $50 or whatever you can give, we can reach or exceed our goal of $5,000 to sustain and expand these opportunities for youth throughout Orange County to help them thrive with dance!
