During the month-long residency, Backhausdance will develop a new, site-specific dance work inspired by Roach’s Pop-Surrealist visual art exhibition Visual Morphology (on view at OCCCA September 6–27), as well as original music from his independent label Weird Roach. The public is invited to witness the creative process in open rehearsals, as well as participate in an art/dance workshop on National Dance Day before viewing the FREE performance on Sept. 27.

All events are free, but please RSVP if you hope to attend the Workshop on September 20 and the Performance on September 27 to help with anticipated audience numbers.
