RULES & REGULATIONS
Note to all Students: All rules and policies will be strictly enforced. The Backhausdance Chaperone has absolute authority to enforce these guidelines. Disciplinary problems will be dealt with on an individual basis and may result in expulsion (with no refund) from the program.
For participants under the age of 18 an Off-Campus Release Form must be signed by a parent/guardian and returned to Backhausdance in order for the student to leave the Ayres Hotel Orange without a chaperone. Participants who do not have signed permission to leave the hotel will not be allowed to do so except in the case of chaperoned travel and outings. Minors should notify the Chaperone of where they are going and when they expect to return. Minors with parent/guardian permission to leave campus without a Chaperone may only do so in groups of two or more.
Family/friends may be authorized to check a minor out for the evening and/or on the weekends. The adult taking the minor student must be authorized by a parent/guardian on the Authorized Adults Form ahead of time. The on-campus chaperone should be contacted prior to pick-up to arrange sign out.
As stated in the Housing Agreement at time of reservation, no refunds will be issued for any reason after May 31, 2016.
Participants may not have overnight guests.
Please be advised the hotel does not allow parties or loud social gatherings in the guest rooms or throughout the hotel, including the patio area. Any participant violating this policy will be removed from the housing facility.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Participants are responsible for the general condition of the room assigned, including damages, defacement and general order. Please be respectful of the shared space by keeping personal items organized and in your designated space.
COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS
Participants are subject to all federal, state and local laws. No unlawful conduct shall be carried on or permitted in the rooms or facilities. Residents must obey California's drinking laws. In California individuals must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol and alcohol may not be served to individuals under 21.
It is recommended that your student have their own cell phone for their use while away from home. Students may bring laptops from home but Backhausdance and the Ayres Hotel Orange cannot be responsible for loss or damage.
