Below you will find everything you need to know about registering and participating in the annual Backhausdance Summer Intensive. Please read everything carefully and follow all instructions.
We can't wait to dance with you this summer!
I. Intensive Requirements
Attendees must be at least 16 years old and at an intermediate to advanced level of dance with a strong background in ballet and contemporary dance.
II. Online Application
Please complete and submit the registration form. Be thorough in your description of your dance background. After submission, you will then receive a confirmation email with additional details pertaining to the classes, guest faculty, dress code, extra activities and Deconstructed.
III. Tuition Information
Full tuition is $750 for two weeks and $450 for one week. To get the most out of the Backhausdance Summer Intensive, we highly recommend participating in both weeks. Student participating in only one week will not be included in the Deconstructed performance. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due with your online registration. The balance of the tuition is due June 31st. If you can make your full payment by April 15th, you will receive a 10% Early Bird Discount. This amounts to a discount of $75 for 2 weeks or $45 for one week.
IV. Pay Deposit on PayPal
Please submit the non-refundable deposit, $375 for two weeks or $225 for one week by clicking the registration fee link to the right after filling out the registration form. This enables us to secure your place in the intensive. Please note that your application will not be valid until you pay your deposit.

The Backhausdance Summer Intensive will be held at

Classes will be held Monday-Friday 9:30am-3:30pm.
Rehearsals for Deconstructed are 3:30pm-5:00pm daily. *Subject to change.
VII. Deconstructed

Ticket prices are $15 for general admission and will be available at www.backhausdance.org or at the door. The box office opens one hour prior to the performance.
Tech and Call time for performers will be announced during the first week of the intensive.
VIII. Scholarship Audition
Backhausdance grants scholarships to the intensive based on talent and need. If you would like to be considered, you must attend the Scholarship Audition!
