Two New Board Members
Tuesday, December 1, 2009 Jeremy Hunt Last night was the monthly Backhausdance board meeting. On the top of the agenda was voting in and welcoming two new board members to the mix, Nancy Dickson-Lewis and Rachel Scandling. Both are well accomplished as dancers and have a ton of experience in arts management.
Nancy is a professor at Chapman University in Orange, CA and trained our Artistic Director, Jenny, as well as many of our dancers. She has been a close advisor and instrumental in the success of Backhausdance from day one. We are honored to have her on board in an official capacity.
Rachel graduated from Chapman University and is manager of special campaigns in development for the Orange County Performing Arts Center. Her experience with non profit dance organizations is going to be a big help to us as BD continues to grow over the next few years.
