Backhausdance is committed to expanding the vision and appreciation of dance as an art in the community and as well as the education system. We are dedicated to the creation, development, awareness and understanding of the art of modern dance. The company’s outreach program reaches students of all ages through annual summer intensive programs, community classes, residency programs, masterclasses, and other upcoming outreach programs. We understand that dance is more than just steps or movement, its creation and perfection involves the mind, body, and soul of any dancer. Allowing each dancer to discover their potential in and connection to dance as an art is at the cornerstone of the Backhausdance mission.
