We are excited to offer a variety of evening activities during our intensives. Available to all divisions, these events provide a great opportunity to have fun and build lasting friendships that extend beyond the studio. Please note that some events have limited availability and/or quick deadlines to register.
A NOTE TO CONFIRMED HOUSING PARTICIPANTS: The housing reservation fee includes admission to the evening activities held during the dates of your stay. It is not necessary to register for the events below. Transportation to/from the evening activities and the Ayres Hotel Orange will be provided for housing students.

Take me out to the ballgame! Join Backhausdance and intensive participants for a night out at the big leagues. The Angels vs. Orioles game begins at 7:07pm. The Angels Express departs at 5:34pm and returns approximately 30 minutes after the game. Participants can be picked up from the Partridge Dance Center following the event. Be there for the birth of four new ballets created as part of the intensive 3-week process of the National Choreographers Initiative. Artistic Director Molly Lynch invites four choreographers, as well as sixteen professional dancers from ballet companies across the country, to participate. NCI is a southern California project with national influence. 2019 choreographers include: Julia Feldman, Alan Hineline, Alex Ketley, and Tom Mattingly.
Group transportation for non-housing students will not be provided for this event. Non-housing participants are responsible for determining carpools if desired.

Come mini golf with us and try to get a hole-in-one! Backhausdance invites you to test your athletic abilities outside of the dance studio at Camelot Golfland. Come hang out and laugh with us. Group transportation for non-housing students will not be provided for this event.
